Description
The CA-201 Female XLR panel jack is a basic connector. This is an economy grade connector and is suitable for medium duty applications. There's nothing really special about this connector other than it's inexpensive, and fully compatible with standard 3 pin XLR connections and has a standard non-unified "old school" mounting hole pattern.
The termination points are standard solder wells, which are well suited for conductors up to 16 ga. in size. The body is nickel silver finished die cast zinc. The contact points are reasonably good quality spring steel.
